On The Drake Passage

We're on our second day crossing the Drake Paasage.  Other than the first night out of Ushuaia has been a very smooth sailing.

We had a few hours in Ushuaia after the early morning flight from Buenos Aires.  That gave us time for lunch and then a stop for a beer.

Sailing out of Ushuaia on the Beagle Channel, was lovely and smooth.  And we were treated to a beautiful sunset.

As we sail south, it has gotten notably colder. We do have our parkas.

Tomorrow we will reach Antarctica.  Exactly where we will be and what we will be doing has yet to be determined.  As our Expedition Leader has said, this an expedition not a cruise!  The plan is flexible and weather dependant.  So we'll just have to wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Peace and blessings,

Linda, Larry, Amy and Emma
