A New Adventure Begins

We are in Miami after thankfully uneventful and on time flights from LA.

So, why are we in Miami?  We are now on board the Oceania Allura for its christening cruise.  It's a (free) 4 day cruise with the christening ceremony happening tonight.  Then we'll have a day in Nassau, Bahamas and a day at sea before returning to Miami.

Upon returning to Miami, we will begin a road trip through the Southeast, eventually ending up in Holly Springs, Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with our son Matt and his family.  Along the way, we'll spend a couple of days with Linda's cousin Jerry in Aventura.  Then we'll spend a couple of days in St. Marys, Georgia and visit with Annie who used to be a chef instructor on Oceania.  Next will be four days in Savannah, Georgia before a one day stop in Charleston, South Carolina to visit an old friend from Cincinnati.

After Thanksgiving, we'll fly back to Miami  to embark on the Oceania Vista for a cruise that will take us through the Panama Canal and home to LA.

Family, friends, road trip, and cruising.  What could be better?

Peace and blessings,
Linda and Larry
