Today, Saturday, we were docked in Portland, Maine. But, before I get there, just a few comments from last night. We had dinner with the Cruise Director, Ray, (who somehow after 50+ cruises on Oceania we had never sailed with) and the Assistant Cruise Director, Bryn (whose wedding reception you may remember we attended on Regatta) blog readers. It was a lovely dinner getting to know Ray and catching up with Bryn. After dinner, Linda and I wound up in the Founders Bar sampling a couple of their very unique cocktails. Quite unusual for us but maybe the start of something new!
This morning, the weather was dreary with a forecast of rain. We thought that we might just stay on board then, after our morning coffee with one of our favorite baristas, Massimo, the rain held off long enough for us to walk around Portland for about an hour.
