Singapore Day Three

We're in the Cathay Pacific lounge on our way home.

After a busy day yesterday, we took it a little easier this morning and walked over to Arab Street to see a different section of Singapore.  It was an interesting walk, but it was hot and humid.  It's a good thing that we decided to not go to the Botanical Gardens.  We saw orchids yesterday!

After returning to the hotel, we thought about going out for lunch but decided to just eat at the hotel.  Good decision - it was much cooler and it started raining as we ate.

So, we packed up and took a quick taxi ride to the airport.  It is quite an airport.  Some websites I visited suggest that it is a good place to go when it's raining just to see it.  It was designed by the same architect who designed the Marina Bay Sands.  We only walked a bit in Terminal 4 before planting ourselves in the lounge.

It was a good 3 days in Singapore.  Linda had to tough it out between her cold, the heat, and all of the walking we did.  We're both ready to get home!
