The Much Anticipated Pirate Drill

This morning, Tuesday, was the big event - the pirate drill.  When we returned to our suite after breakfast, we found the curtains drawn tight and the table secured with a rope (in case the ship has to make a sharp maneuver).

When the drill began they announced a code Papa Yellow and they came by to check that all of the curtains were closed but we were able to remain in our suite.

Then a code Papa Orange was announced and we were told to go down one deck and remain in the interior staircase.

Finally, a code Papa red was called and we were told to get down on the floor.  Security people would walk by and check on things.  The drill ended shortly after that.

There have been outside security people walking around the ship.  While they are dressed in street clothing, it is obvious who they are because they look like neither crew nor guests.

In the afternoon, we spotted our first pirate boat.

Just kidding!

On a lighter note, we have been playing Bingo.  The attendance has been minimal resulting in small payouts.  Each day has 4 different games and over the past 2 days Linda has won 3 games outright and split 2 other games.  Just call her Lucky Linda!

The very interesting day ended with a nice sunset as we took an evening walk.

Peace and blessings,

Linda and Larry
