The past 2 days have been good ones! Wednesday marked our return to Malaga and to good weather. We walked into town with the intent of going to the Picasso Museum. Picasso was born in Malaga. When we got to the museum, it appeared to be quite crowded, so we began a walk around. What we discovered is that central Malaga is a maze of pedestrian streets which we loved. As you can now imagine, our roaming eventually took us to a church and a tapas lunch.
We did eventually make it back to the Picasso Museum which included works that spanned his career and included an exhibit that displayed his work next to some old masters. It was an OK museum.
As we made our way from Malaga, we sailed past Gibraltar for a beautiful dusk view.
Yesterday was a fine day for sailing. The cooking demo was fun, Linda won at bingo (more money laundered!), the French wine tasting was superb, and the weather was great.
As I am writing this, we are sailing into Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the first of our 3 days in the Canary Islands.
We are disappointed that our friends Manuela and Wolfgang will not be here to greet us. We are just going to have to enjoy churros and tapas without them.
Today's Rule of Civility: Rule #19. Let your countenance be pleasant but in serious matters somewhat grave. Here's hoping that none of us have serious matters!
Peace and blessings,
Linda and Larry

Soooooo very sorry 😞! Enjoy the day! We just reached La Romana & will enjoy 3 different Dom Rep ports - no tapas, but rum 😳
